Things makers ask before buying
Start with the free First Stitch Starter Squares, then work the Everyday Washcloth Set. Between them you will learn chain, single crochet, double crochet, turning and fastening off, which covers roughly 80 percent of everything else on the site.
All patterns are written in US terms, with a UK conversion table on page two of every PDF. If you work in UK terms the table maps each abbreviation directly, and nothing else in the pattern needs changing.
Premium PDFs add multiple sizes with a full sizing chart, symbol charts alongside the written rows, a yarn substitution guide in three price brackets, a printable schematic, and a small-business licence. Free patterns are complete and honest, just single-size and written-only.
Yes for premium patterns. Every purchase includes a licence to sell up to 200 finished items per year, in person or online, with a credit to HooklyShop in the listing. You may not resell or republish the pattern file itself. For free patterns, message me first and I will almost always say yes.
Email me with the pattern name and the row you are on and I will walk you through it, usually the same day. A photo helps enormously. This is included with every pattern, free or premium, and there is no support tier.
Digital files cannot be returned, but if a pattern has an error or genuinely is not what you expected, tell me within 30 days and I will refund it without argument. Errors also get corrected and re-sent to everyone who bought that pattern.
